“Finally the desire to quit smoking emerged within at the age of 33, after almost 10 years of being a regular smoker. Ruchi had just recently helped me with some relationship issues I was facing in my life and the ripple effect made me want to do a lot more to lead a happier healthier life.
During the session we discovered that smoking was filling a “space” in my life that I imagined existed and was some sort of need based “company”. As I had been a smoker for several years and now was smoking between 15 to 20 cigarettes a day, I did not even remember why I do so and how it feels not to smoke. With her most silent compassionate way of engagement Ruchi relaxed me completely in the session asking me the right questions at the right time. All of a sudden with such gentle and subtle movement of her words – I saw a pattern with smoking and the relationship I described just stood out crystal clear before us. It felt like a great discovery for me and the thought of smoking or not smoking was not even on my mind from that very moment. This, I figured the same evening when I was sipping beer at an open air jazz concert and my friends who were in total shock that I am not smoking. Several said it must be really hard- but no, there was no urge so no need for suppression and no sense of withdrawal- not even physically!
Now its been a month. Ruchi facilitated the session absolutely immaculately and all just seemed to flow so naturally and smoothly that before I even registered a huge chunk of an unhelpful habit and pattern was bitten off and thrown. She ensured that there was no “void” that I would fill then with another habit to replace smoking. I really feel a lot of gratitude to be able to have her as my coach/mentor and would really recommend her sessions to anyone for smoking and other issues they may be facing in their lives. The best thing is, that once you have a session with her for one issue in your life that you would like to work on, her deep empathy and calm compassion inspire you to transform a lot more to make life a happier more fun process, with complete confidence!
What I simply loved that after each session I was empowered as Ruchi guided me to see what all I have within and that these learnings the sessions brought me to, were something I can never lose, adding a sense of independence. She nonchalantly said “I did not do anything, this was you.” And each time it made me laugh and think- minus these sessions with her I would have probably not known myself so well and all the gifts I have within!”
