Having helped hundreds of leaders achieve success, I’ve noticed consistent patterns – sharing some of my observations
Leadership Can Be Taught. You don’t have to be a “born leader.” Leadership is a capability that can be developed.
Learning about behaviour patterns helps us understand the best way to interact with someone so we can get the desired result in the most sustainable way. And as we know, Leadership is about getting results and driving outcomes!
I have noticed that some people get it straight away and others take a little longer. The key difference? Mindset – those who are stuck in their own shortcomings vs those focused on finding a way forward.
You can guess who transforms into a great Leader faster.
Leadership is a Mindset. Leadership isn’t about titles—it’s about how you think and act. When the mind is trained to take the lead—no matter the situation—it becomes a leader’s mind.
Quite often we get stuck simply because we don’t know how to move forward. But with right tools and training, Leadership develops into a mindset. We learn to create an environment where others feel naturally compelled to follow.
Like other great leaders we learn to set the vision and direction, and empower our teams to carve their own path towards the goal.
Leadership is Holistic. When Leadership is a mindset, it becomes a continuous thing – It’s not something you switch on and off. It is holistic because you are not saving it for just one aspect of your life. You show up no matter what. And you apply these rules in every situation – rules of empowerment – whether you are dealing with your team, your peers, your family or your seniors!
